Terms of Service – Buno

Welcome to Buno! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Buno app and related services (“the Service”), provided by Connecting Humans, Wilgenstraat 3, Sint-Oedenrode, The Netherlands, registered under company number 69085781.

By using the Buno app or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.


1. Service

  • Buno provides personalized audio bedtime stories for children aged 0–6, designed for parents and their families.
  • The app offers a free account with limited functionality and a paid subscription (“Buno Premium”) with access to full features and content.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Buno Premium is available via a monthly or annual subscription.
  • Subscriptions and free trials are managed via RevenueCat and processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Billing.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Prices and conditions are clearly displayed within the app and in the App Store listings.
  • Any free trial is limited to one per user.

3. Free Account

  • Users with a free account have access to limited stories and features.
  • You may upgrade to Buno Premium at any time to unlock all content and functions.

4. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple or Google account settings.
  • When cancelled, you will retain access to Premium until the end of the paid period, after which your account reverts to the free version.

5. Account Management and Deletion

  • Users can delete their account at any time via the in-app settings.
  • When an account is deleted, all personal data associated with the account is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Use of the Service

  • The Buno app is intended for use by parents/guardians together with their children.
  • You may only use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You are not permitted to:
    • Copy or distribute content from the app without prior permission.
    • Use the app in any way that disrupts or harms the Service.

7. Personal Data and Privacy

  • To personalize stories, Buno may request information such as the child’s name and age. This data is only used to generate stories and is not permanently stored.

8. Liability

  • Connecting Humans strives to provide the Service safely and reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
  • Connecting Humans is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the app, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Changes

  • Connecting Humans may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
